ABC Phonics Fun Rhyming

ABC Phonics Fun Rhyming
A fun game for young children to learn and practice phonics by finding pairs of matching words. This game provides many hours of enjoyment. Children are challenged to win "jewels" for successful completion of each level.  After collecting enough jewels, they are rewarded with a bonus mini-game, allowing them to trace or color a picture, create sparkles on the screen, and pop bubbles. Your child will be so involved in achieving each goal, that they won't realize how much they are learning.

By matching rhyming words, this game helps children recognize common word patterns, and understand how the initial consonant, middle vowel, and ending consonant affect pronunciation.  They will learn to distinguish between long and short vowel sounds, and they will learn to pronounce consonant combination, such as "ch" and "sh". These are all important stepping stones to becoming a proficient reader.

Sentence-1 Reading Magic

Sentence-1 Reading Magic
This app will help your child become a better reader. This app helps your child to build sentences. This app helps your child to read sentences. This app provides the missing link between reading words and reading books-reading sentences. This app gives emerging readers a step that will encourage skill building and confidence in reading.

Most reading programs go from reading words to reading books, which is a big gap. This app helps to bridge that gap giving emerging readers a gradual and fun step up from reading words. These short sentences are perfect to help children gain confidence in reading sentences.

This app has two modes. The first mode is sentence building where children can move the words into their correct sentence position. The second mode is the reading mode where children can read the words of the phrase or sentence and then check their work by touching the hidden picture. This app uses 2 and 3 word sentences, which are punctuated correctly and always begin with a capital letter.

The picture is hidden to encourage word reading instead of "picture reading." Most young readers upon seeing the picture will guess its meaning and not even look at the words. The picture is hidden so that the child will read the words first and then only look at the picture to check their work.
